Software Update: Mp3tag 2.76 – Tweakers

Florian Heidenreich has released version 2.75 of Mp3tag. With this program, the meta tags of the most common music formats can be customized. Support is available for ID3v1, ID3v2.3, ID3v2.4, MP4, WMA, Vorbis comments and Ape tags. Further, the file names on the basis of tags which can be adjusted and playlists can be generated. Since version 2.74, the following changes and improvements have been made:

New:
 

• Added support for WAV files for Explorer context menu shell extension.

 
• Added support for WAV files with INFO tags and ID3v2 tags.

 

Fixed:
 

• Action Import cover from file did not work if Explicitly selected filename contained special characters That Are Part of the scripting language.

 
• Keyboard shortcuts for navigating to previous and next directory entry history were not working anymore (since 2.74)

 

• Revised status bar messages.

 
• Cover art or previously selected files were still displayed even after change directory (Wine-only)
