Google last week Nik Collection, a set of plug-ins free of charge to advanced digital photo editing. Until now you had $ 149 to count down. Google is the reason for the removal of the price component of their strategic choice for the long term to focus on building photo editing tools for mobile devices, including Google’s Snapseed.
By offering free, anyone can take the Nik Collection (Mac and Windows) desktop suite for free. Snapseed should eventually compete with Facebook and Instagram.
The Nik Collection is a set of seven plug-ins: Analog Efex Pro, Color Efex Pro, Silver Efex Pro, Viveza, HDR Efex Pro , Sharpener Pro and Dfine. These plugins are all working in conjunction with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom and Aperture (Apple). The purpose of the plug-ins is that the combination of features of the above programs which improve the color correction, retouching, and creative effects is enhanced.
Google bought Nik Software in 2012. For the software then had to pay another $ 500. The price of the tool, however, continued after the takeover equal downward. Who Nik Collection has purchased this year will get his money back, Google says.
