It’s a pity that Linux is still not able to just Windows games 100% get perfect running.
A pity that Windows did not even agree to is capable of; wait a minute, that does not mean … in fact, computing is not always the OS or the Win32 API (clone) to, in many cases, the software itself just poorly written. And if you have marginal position within the actual Win32 API (Windows itself) it is unlikely that it works well on the clone (WINE)
My point is this -. From personal experience working properly written software the line just fine in WINE. Diablo III – Faultless, Battle.net app – Almost flawless, Heroes of the Storm – If a charm. And then we arrive at an example of a poorly written piece of software – Path of Exile. Yes, and also works really dredged immediately poorly WINE. Prison Architect – works beautifully
An important exception, at present, the Steam client.. The Windows version of it is poorly used in WINE. Installs fine, runs fine but rendering issues causing less use to make. The titles you can install via Steam on the other hand usually works fine, in my experience at least.
No idea where the urban legend that does nothing good comes from in WINE, but it is really an urban legend.
