Razer launches live streaming software for gamers – Hardware.Info

Razer today, the Razer Cortex: Game Caster free, live streaming software built for gamers. Razer Cortex users can now easily record their game play and stream for networks as Azubu, Twitch and YouTube Live.


 

All the necessary game casting tools and settings in-game available through an on-screen overlay that hides from view when not in use. Keyboard shortcuts give gamers the ability to launch them on stream, record their gameplay locally, exchange webcam or save a screenshot without losing focus on the game.


 

Razer Cortex: Game Caster automatically optimizes settings to allow the stream to this match the PC setup and Internet for a minimal impact on performance. Streamers can configure the settings manually to adjust the broadcast quality to their own preference.


 

There are two versions of the Razer Cortex: Game Caster. They are available in the Razer Cortex software, now used by more than 11 million gamers. With the free version of Razer Cortex: Game Caster allows gamers images without watermarks broadcast at resolutions of up to 720p. In stream above 720p appears discreetly with a free subscription to Razer watermark on the broadcast.


 

By activating the paid Pro license gives users access to advanced premium features. These include among others a higher quality and lower impact on the stream with the x264 codec, on-screen annotations and Twitch chat tools.
