Software Update: Transmission 2.92 – Tweakers

Version 2.92 of Transmission appeared. This torrent client uses few resources, is platform independent and open source, and has a simple and uncluttered interface. The program is designed to work with OS X, but are also versions for Linux, Solaris, FreeBSD, and some NAS systems on the download page. In addition, there is also an unofficial Windows port. The update is primarily intended for OS X users, because it appears to now some installation files were infected with the OSX.KeRanger.A-ransomware. It is therefore important to upgrade or remove at least version 2.90.
