Software Update: Patch My PC 3.0.4.0 – Tweakers

Neehoor that is not so. Also at existing plants Choco might just work. And you’re happy not dependent on a 3rd party. The packages linking to the default server software, so the package does not need to be updated after a new version of the software. Besides having new packages no longer be reviewed by people and packages can be updated quickly, if it is already needed. Much has changed at chocolatey last year.

There’s even a UI where you can see what is installed, updating things so I do not use it, just use the built-in Windows service (scheduler) to 1x in the month choco run update.

It’s not perfect yet, so I install Foxit on an exotic way, absorbing only to install the reader (Foxit nowadays consists of several parts). However, during an update, the system switches to be used which are not re-used in the 1st install. In itself according to design but not desirable. That sort of thing and example of shortcuts anywhere places the irritating behavior is still ongoing through most installations.
