the feature of the software is introduced as a security measure. But it appears that the diagnostic system is too sensitive so unexpected stop occurs more frequently than intended. The engine then does it, but the power steering, lights, air bags and ABS braking system continue to operate as normal.
The cars have to get to the solution of the problem with the dealer by a software update, reports the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NTHSA).
