Tesla fit software for autopilot – Yahoo! News

Tesla will make a number of changes in the software that the Model S is self-propelled. The possibilities are limited by the autopilot after the company found that taking some drivers unnecessary risks.

That made Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, announced yesterday during a conference call on the quarterly results, which US media reports.

Some drivers took unnecessary risks with the cars and therefore Musk decided to limit the capabilities of the software. Especially to reduce the risk that “people do crazy things with it,” reports include the Financial Times.

Approved in the Netherlands
Late last month approved the National (RDW), the Autopilot System Tesla’s all right. The software helps drivers when parking and staying within the lines complies with European regulations, according to the service.

After the announcement of the quarterly earnings rose, the price of Tesla by 10 percent. Investors who worried about potential production problems with the new Model X were reassured.
