Organizations that have nothing to do with software will not meet in 2030. That says head computing & amp; networking of the Singularity University, Brad Templeton. He argues that software has an important role in the business model of ICT companies. “Organizations that do not go along with that, disappear.”

Templeton spoke at a meeting organized by Euro Fiber. Which ICT infrastructure supplier quarter on November 17, 2015 in Rotterdam its fifteen years of existence. During that event stood ICT developments until 2030 central. He sat in his keynote mainly on the ways in which organizations in the future may be successful. He predicts that organizations do nothing with software, will soon no longer exist, “software should be the basis of every ICT company

” Fifteen years is a long time to look ahead.. It is not exactly predict what will be in 2030 for technologies. However, if software you can plan for the next few years are going to make anyway.

Furthermore, Templeton would like to see technologies such as fiber optics, quick cheaper, so they are used. “Because of emerging technologies such as virtual reality, there will be much demand for high-bandwidth connections.”

Disappearing jobs?

Templeton understands the anxiety of people who fear that their jobs will disappear through ICT. He argues that both jobs with little skill, as work disappear with a higher level of knowledge. He points out that this development is of all times. Templeton took a letter from 1967 to the then US President Lyndon Johnson in which people were worried about job losses due to automation. “But even when the weather is good come: people according to other jobs.”

The software architect can not say with certainty that this again will go as, “But now there is no reason for panic. Unless you drive cars for your work, “he adds with a wink
