Competa Kenis has already set up a training facility the name CodePamoja. The locals are there trained as a software developer. By letting novice African developers collaborate with experienced European colleagues, the company’s local economy hopes to give a big push in the back.
According to technical manager Jim Sang Wine Kenya bursting with talent but lacks the bright minds in the land of opportunity. The hope is that the model of Competa does not remain at the training facility in Kenya. To achieve this, the Fair Trade Software Foundation founded
