Sonos has a blog post about his latest software update for Android users put online. Software Update 5.4 will include the audio quality of the PLAY:. 1 improved

Since its launch in 2013 plenty of extra features are made for – now over 60 – music streaming services. With update 5.4, it is also easier to control your home theater setup. So it is no longer necessary to connect an Ethernet cable to your BRIDGE, BOOST or directly on your PLAYBAR.
