Later this summer launched Sonos software update 5.4 and that has implications for a number of existing functions on a hardware controllers for users who have Android devices running the operating system Android 2.1, or a Mac running OS 10.6.8. Some functions will disappear.
This new version of our software will affect the CR200 Sonos controllers. Owners of CR200 can continue to use it to control their system to find and play music, and to raise to group rooms or groups. Only the following functions will disappear with the introduction of the update.
- To Install a New Sonos System
- Add new players
- Add Music services or Removing
- Customize Room settings (eg. change the player-equalizers)
The change only applies for the CR200 controller, other controllers remain the functions are still available. Also take a look at our brand-page of Sonos.
