In Bolt make your templates with twig, which imo is many times better than the functions of WordPress. WordPress bloat your header immediately Bold just adds that manages the site by Bold cms word.
You configuration is not through a fancy interface but just through simple yml files.
Data types (page, blog post, etc. ) it does not, this you can again easily with a few lines in a file yml
your menus do not through a fancy interface, but -. … you guessed it – a yml file.
Bold is very light and lives by the idea that an end user would do no config stuff (which is often true in my experience), each themes to change (you throw your theme in a folder and ready, you can only have one theme have at the same time online, so no fancy interface), etc. The end user would only need to edit only content.
A designer would no hard things and can just using html, css, js and make his Twig templates.

Bold is in my experience very flexible, simple to set up and manage, and especially not bloated. This experience I have on all fronts totally with WordPress. In other CMSs have no real experience and I can therefore not much to say about
