Many Bible apps available for mobile phones contain malicious software. This user data can be stolen, access to the calendar and contacts are obtained or even secretly calls are committed

From 5600 through Proofpoint studied Bible apps (4.154 for Android; 1.500 for iOS). Contain 208 malicious code and 140 are classified as ‘dangerous’, writes the RD. These were for Android. Much of the Bible apps also have no privacy clause while user information is transmitted across borders.
