Software Update: Patch My PC 3.0.2.4 – Tweakers

Version 3.0.2.4 Patch My PC has been released. This program can check for the latest versions of many programs – including Mozilla Firefox, Java, iTunes, Skype and Adobe Flash – installed. In addition, it can see which Windows updates are missing on the system and which programs Windows tit defy, and can remove the programs. This Patch My PC is similar to programs like Secunia Personal Software Inspector and SUMo KC Softwares.

The program itself is only half a megabyte in size and need not be installed in order to do its job. The user can choose to have updates to be installed or beaten and then all with a single click retrieved and installed. The language of the installation can also be specified. • When choosing the “Disable silent installation or applications (Requires interaction)” in the options menu, the setting would not be retained after Patch My PC Updater was closed.

 
• Application Detection Improvements
   
  • If there are multiple versions of a specific application installed with the latest version being installed, the application will always show as Green ook in the Apps panel.
  
   
  • If there are multiple versions of a specific application installed with the latest version being installed and an outdated version installed, you will receive the Following message in the update status “You might have more than one version installed or the program (s) listed in red. Please use the uninstall tab to uninstall the older version (s) Of Those programs. “

   

  • If there are multiple versions of a specific application installed, any outdated versions will still be shown as red in the Update Status textbox

   

  • Silverlight SDK May be detected as Silverlight

   

  • Picasa Uploader for Facebook May be detected as Picasa

   

  • PureSync May not be Detected Correctly
