JSF builder behind software – Telegraaf.nl

WASHINGTON –

It will take longer than planned before the first F-35’s, known as the Joint Strike Fighters, officially combat. Builder Lockheed Martin has again delayed the development of key software for fighter

The US Department of Defense states that the testing phase of the software is extended because there are too many errors in it. This phase had months to be completed, but was already delayed. It now appears that the software where it will be stripped to only go this summer of the major bugs. Lockheed threatened by the delay millions of dollars from the ministry to go wrong.

Netherlands recently put the signature for the purchase of eight F-35’s. In total, the government wants to buy 37 from the year 2019. This will cost 4.5 billion euros
