Management buy out owner Mouse Software – Computable

The management led by Mattijs Wilms has a management buyout (MBO) of Multi User Information Systems (Mouse) Software realized. Founder Dick Heijnis, which a few years ago had already transferred the daily management of Wilms, now has done a large part of his shares of this enterprise software company from Heemskerk of the hand. The MBO is partly financed by Rabobank and Main Mezzanine Capital. Bright Orange has assisted the shareholders in this transaction.

CEO Mattijs Wilms has in 2000 started at mouse Software and stood among others at the forefront of the SaaS solution ‘iMuis Online’. Management has planned to get an investor on board, but ultimately opted for a mezzanine financing (subordinated loan) through Main Capital and funding through Rabobank.

Mouse Software has invested in recent years in the online and SaaS development of the software. The extra capital the company intends to use the coming period to roll out these products and marketing support, with the ultimate goal to grow.

Online and offline versions

Mouse Software was founded in 1984. The company provides administrative software: from Internet accounting for heavier applications for enterprise resource planning (erp). Target groups are entrepreneurs in SMEs, especially accountants, (large) trade companies, logistics companies, service providers and freelancers. The company claims to serve over fifteen thousand customers.

Distinctive for the software Mouse Software is the integrated online and offline versions to be compatible with each other. The entrepreneur can thus with iMuis Online accounting (web-based) and the auditor simultaneously check the records and working with iMuis Accounting Software
