Honor promises to software updates for Honor 5X – GSMinfo.nl

Not all manufacturers do as well when it comes to software updates for their smartphones. Honor certainly has promised his upcoming budget smartphone, the Honor 5X, keep up-to-date.

The Honor 5X a new middle class from the stable of Honor which should go follow the Honor 4X. For around 200 euros you get great value for money, because the device has a powerful octa-core processor with a FullHD screen of 5.5 inches. The same fingerprint scanner device on board we also looked back at high-end smartphones Huawei Honor and, like the Huawei Mate 8. In addition, the device has a strong battery capacity of 3000 mAh.

The Honor at 5X will be powered by Android 1.5 release Lollipop, but the company has promised to act quickly this version to the latest version of Android, version 6.0 Marshmallow. Honor also promised that the device will receive regular security updates. This trend has emerged after the infamous Stage Fright leak in August of last year, and many manufacturers make smaller monthly updates to their devices to add security fixes. 5X Honor launched in February and will receive the same suggested retail price as its predecessor, in what amounts to 199 euros. The device will probably be a few days after the launch in stores.
