KeePass Password Safe 1:30 – Tweakers

Dominik Reichl has its open-source password manager KeePass Password Safe includes an update to version 1.30. This program can store accounts with associated data such as username, password, and URL. All data is securely in an encrypted with AES or Twofish stored database. Thus, you do have to remember only one master password for all your accounts. KeePass Password Safe can also automatically generate passwords, import and export lists, and has an advanced search function. Besides KeePass 1.x there is a 2.x version, which offers more features. The changelog for this release shows the following changes and improvements:

New Features:
 

• Refined application icons (thanks to Victor Andreyenkov).

 

• Added option ‘UUID’ in the ‘Find’ dialog (to search in UUIDs or entries).

 

• Added option “Delete attachments’ in the ‘Mass Modify’ dialog.
