Software which is designed for securing VoIP voice traffic is as leaky as a basket. “There is a standard loophole, allowing calls to be tapped,” says a security expert told the BBC

.

The software in question was developed by the British security service GCHQ. Researcher Steven Murdoch of the University College London is the loophole on the track. He made mention it.

Unrecognizable

Meanwhile, the GCHQ already said “not to recognize the problems outlined,” which Murdoch’s arguments are dismissed. Murdoch insists that the leak is present and acts as an ‘escrow way out. ” In that way, the data can be transferred to a third party. More information is on the website of the BBC.
