There is a new stable release of the IRC client mIRC appeared. With this program it is possible to chat with each other through different channels and servers, but also through “direct client-to-client” to send files to each other. Furthermore, scripts may be rotated in order to make easier the management of channels, for example. The IRC server runs on Tweakers.net irc.tweakers.net, with # tweakers.net as the official channel and many other channels that serve as home for the hardware and software enthusiast.
