Software update: 7-Zip 9:35 beta – Tweakers

The developers behind 7-Zip have after a long series of alpha releases now released a beta of their open source archiving program. 7-Zip can handle a large number of compression formats, including zip, cab, rar, arj, LZH, CHM, gzip, bzip2, z, tar, cpio, rpm, deb and obviously developed 7z. Furthermore, the software is able to access files and iso-NSIS-installation packages. Version 9:35 the following three problems are solved:

What’s new after 7-Zip 9:34 alpha:
 

• The BUG was fixed: 7-Zip crashes constantly ZIP archive creation, if the number of CPU threads were more than 64

• The BUG in 9:31 to 9:34 was fixed: 7-Zip Could not extract ISO Correctly That Are archives larger than 4 GiB

.
 

• The BUG was fixed at 9:33 to 9:34: The option “Compress shared files” and -ssw switch did not work

.
 

• The BUG in 9:26 to 9:34 was fixed: 7-Zip File Manager Could crash for some open archives in “Flat View” mode

.
 

• Some bugs were fixed.
