Version 2.14 of EMDB true. EMDB, which stands for Eric’s Movie Database is a free program that allows a movie collection can be managed. While the download is only 2MB big, it offers comprehensive functionality. Thus, relevant information from online databases such as IMDb, Movie Meter TMDb and TheTVDB be retrieved, it can be tracked which movies are loaned and movies that can be started on the hard disk directly from the program. EMDB can be used in several languages, including Dutch. The changelog for this release is as follows:

User Interface:
- Added an automatic update function. No more manual installations!
Database
- Added a What’s New page in the options screen.
- Added a feature to Clipboard Copy / Cut / Paste / Append a movie or a selection of movies (even between databases).
- Added multi selection to the Bookshelf view. Most of the Windows selection methods (Shift-Click to select a range, Ctrl-Click to extend the selection, Shift-Arrows, Ctrl-A to select all, Shift-Home and Shift End) are supported. This enable block multiple movie Copy / Paste, Edit multiple movies at once (only a limited number of fields) or multiple Delete.
- Added a context menu to the bookshelf to access common actions.
- Fixed Use Default Settings options Could not be changed in some cases.
- Added a Subtitles Search page.
- Added Play and Open File Location buttons to the Add / Edit Movie screen.
- Added filesize to the columns to show, export and print.

- Display of file sizes is now more detailed just like in Windows Explorer.
Backup
- Added support for multiple directors. The Directors are now added just like the Actors.
- Added “Streaming”, “DVD + Digital Copy”, “Blu-ray + Digital Copy” and “Blu-ray + DVD + Digital Copy ‘properties to the media field.
- Added “H.265″ as property to the Codec field.
- Custom Genres and Languages are now saved to the database too. If you restore a database on a clean system the custom genres and languages from the database are now stored in the options again to still show them Correctly.
Add Movie:
- The key customization is now included in the backup / restore process.
TVSeries:
- File size was not updated When a (new) media file was assigned.
Playlist:
- When associating files the base directory is set as location and the total file size of all episodes is calculated To.
Translations updated:
- When you edit a Playlist the path of the already present media file (s) is set as default When browsing for additional files.
