Customers spend millions on software SISCOG – NU.nl

other customers it is to get a picture.

London is Transport for London (TfL) use of the software SISCOG. Because this is a public body must give the organization openness and shows how the contract for license there in the books.

TfL is working since 2006 with software SISCOG for planning staff on the London Underground. The software aanbestedingplichte projects represents a value between 1-5 million pounds on the list.

In addition, the company publishes a monthly over 43,500 pounds (over 60,600 euro) on software maintenance of SISCOG.

Difference

A big difference with the NS is that in London only one module of SISCOG used: Crews. The NS is about more because the software is deployed more widely

There is a specially developed module for NS (Crews_NS) and there are other projects. Escalas, RTD and Tutis. What these costs, the railway company will not say

Tutis

In 2014 Tutis the project started, a pilot for the use of planning software for the staff of Security and Service. That cost 154 758 euros in licenses and 348,000 to customizations. That amount exceeds the contract limit already.

The project negotiations have taken place. SISCOG did not, for example have the pilot at any time could be stopped by the NS or the project would be started before the contract was negotiated and the NS wanted a specification phase without that this might affect the price of the project.

contracts

But the NS closing more contracts with SISCOG. As was clear from the presentation of the summer of 2014, three contracts have to be closed again. In the presentation of the NS state that this is necessary because current agreements no longer meet the needs of the NS.

The first is a Dossier Financial Agreements (DFA) for the price paid for the licenses must be paid.

The second contract, the License Agreement Further, intellectual property and defines the conditions under which the software may be used. The latter is an Escrow Agreement, which agreed that the source code of the software is secure and under what conditions the NS should it.
