Yep, even use it to create a “safety copy” of a license key. 
first create an image with ImDisk, then mount this in the memory. License persuaded to HDD and image do not write back. Thus we have a backup of this stick on it the same drive and we can activate if that distance on again when it is again damaged by a defragmentation. (Bugje in that license SW) 
(By the way legal because we do not copy the license to third parties. ff at info
