KC Softwares has released version 4.0.1 of SUMo. SUMo, which stands for Software Update Monitor is a program that scans your computer for installed software and then checks if newer versions are available. By installing a driver agent can also check for updated drivers. SUMo is free to use in various languages, including Dutch. SUMo is especially useful for people who want to keep control over what updates they want to or not to install.
The default installation includes an optional ad module, but there are also a LITE and a portable version available where this not in it. Since version 4.0, there is SUMo Pro, a paid service that provides include automatic updates. In this release the following changes and improvements have been made:
