Minox Software’s new director and shareholder | Het Financieele … – Financieele Dagblad (Registration)

Minox Software in Veenendaal, a supplier of accounting software, has a new director and shareholder. The Hague venture capital company Ecart, which is a major shareholder of Minox since December last year, has therefore reached an agreement with IT entrepreneur Hessel Kuik. The new CEO will receive a minority interest which it will finance with its own resources, so late Rolf Metz, director of Ecart know.

Minox Founded in 1983, produces accounting software for accounting firms and SME entrepreneurs.

Financial Pole

Ecart held in December € 2.5 million in the company in exchange for 80% of the shares. Then, the investor has been looking for a director from outside who would want to buy. Differential now shifts part of its stake to Kuik, but remains the majority shareholder.

Participation in Minox fits into the policy of the Hague investor for more capital invest in information and communication technology. So rather interests acquired in Login Consultants and ShipitSmarter.

The new director Hessel Kuik follows at Minox Ton Janssen, who has been appointed Supervisory Board. Commercial director Paul Brewer remains in office. Janssen Brouwer and retain a 20% stake in the company together.

Ecart sees good growth opportunities for Minox by developing its own cloud package. This will enable the data management instead of using the Internet.

Risk participate

The latest investment of Ecart dates from April when a substantial stake was taken in Topside in Capelle aan den IJssel. Topside, working in the Netherlands under the name Rolloos, supplies special cameras that are hung in cranes on offshore platforms.
