Software company SAP has done good business in the second quarter with new versions of its software that includes financial data can be analyzed quickly. That made the German technology company announced on Tuesday.

That was 20 percent more than a year ago and a better result that analysts had expected. Operating profit rose 13 percent to 1.39 billion euros, in line with the average forecast of analysts. Net profit came in at 960 million euros, an increase of 2 percent.
SAP showed himself delighted with the strong sales performance of cloud services, in which software is delivered over the internet. The revenues from these services grew by 129 percent to 555 million euros.
