Software Update: EMDB 2:10 – Tweakers

Saturday, versions 2.10 and 2.11 of EMDB true. EMDB, which stands for Eric’s Movie Database is a free program that allows a movie collection can be managed. While the download is only 2MB, it features extended functionality. Thus, relevant information from online databases can be retrieved, as IMDb, Movie Meter, TMDb and TheTVDB can be tracked which movies are loaned and movies on the hard disk directly from the program can be started. EMDB can be used in several languages, including Dutch. The changelog for this release is as follows:

 

Version 2:11

  Database:
 

• create database backup Fixed crash in some cases.

 

Version 2.10

  Database:
 

• Added a file size field for media files.

 
• To better combine all files saved in a backup the backup is now stored in a separate directory containing date and time. The brochure contains the main database, all thumbnails and detailed information TVSeries When restoring a backup the directory has to be selected. Restoring old type of backup is still supported.

 
• Fixed a crash When deleting the last movie in the database.

 
• fixed TVSeries details and episode information was lost When merging databases.

• Added an option to ignore the drive letter When checking for existing files When adding new ones (in case the media files are on an external drive from All which might have changed the drive letter.)

 
• Fixed all * VOB files of a DVD structure were added as separate movies whenthey were in a VIDEO_TS folder.
