Jawbone launches new app for Apple’s HealthKit – Techzine

Jawbone, known for wearables, has released a new application that supports HealthKit Apple added. With HealthKit data can be synchronized with a platform and shared with other applications.

A few weeks back Jawbone promised that there would be support for iOS HealthKit 8 (review) and wearables from other companies . With the all new UP application the company adds action to the word, because the use of UP is the UP24-wearable (review) is not required. For example, information can be extracted from the M7 and M8-coprocessor of iPhones.

When starting the application, the user must give permission to get the number of steps taken and sleep behavior. Insight UP can also adjust desired data on the sleep behavior. Integration with other apps like Nest, RunKeeper and Strava is even greater interactivity.

The UP-application can be downloaded from the App Store.
