Adobe has announced to work for the release of Photoshop for Chrome and Chrome OS. Especially for Chrome OS is a big launch, as users of that system were not available.
Project Photoshop Streaming was announced by Adobe and Google. On Photoshop The software will be functional on Chrome OS and the Windows version of Google Chrome. Users with Mac OS X and Linux thus seem to fall. Initially left out
Project Photoshop Streaming the program is actually remotely turned on a special server, the image is transmitted to a Chromebook or Chrome browser. Project Photoshop Streaming will initially be released as an experiment and only useful for North American users with Adobe Creative Cloud subscription. A decent internet connection is also required.
Chrome OS will undoubtedly benefit most from the release of Project Photoshop Streaming. Google’s operating system is only able to run web apps and disposal thus do not yet have support for Photoshop.
In the long run will probably also other Adobe programs such as InDesign and Illustrator will be available in the same way.
