The Chinese computer maker Lenovo is under fire. The company would have knowingly installed malware on new computer to keep track of new customers. That writing several international media.
It would be the program Superfish, a pre-installed search engine that unsolicited advertisements for use and pop- Up load. But the program would be a serious security hole with carry it around, leaving users vulnerable to leakage of private information.
The company sets Thursday in a press reaction that Superfish in January no longer delivers new laptops. Users who have a parent model where there SuperFish runs on, able to deactivate the program by way of performing an update. The company proposes to conduct further research into the program.
It is not the first time that privacy concerns are around Superfish. In early 2014 also surfaced already reports about the program.
